BREEDING CAPABILITY DETERMINATION (ZTF)
formerly character test

Our retrievers were bred as hunting dogs "after the shot" and have breed-typical characteristics.
They are listed as retrieval dogs in FCI Group 8 and are subject to corresponding standards.

In order to maintain their breed-typical characteristics or to promote their development, appropriate measures were provided for the breeding. These include health examinations and the completion of a breeding suitability assessment or a facility assessment or the taking of work tests (JBP / R, BLP, VGP or Working Test Beginner with water).

With a breeding suitability assessment, the behavior (character) of the dog in different situations as well as the natural (hunting) abilities are assessed and a judge's report is created. The dog's form score can also be determined.

All retrievers with FCI pedigree certificates (pedigree) are permitted to complete the breeding suitability assessment:

mindestens 9 und höchstens 36 Monaten

Wenn sie BEIDES brauchen, müssen Sie sowohl die ZUCHTAUGLICHKEITSFESTSTELLUNG als auch zusätzlich den FORMWERT auswählen.

Breeding-relevant properties and meaning of the breeding suitability assessment

The purpose of determining suitability for breeding is to identify typical representatives of a breed and to exclude animals with missing or undesirable predispositions from breeding.
