RETRIEVER BASIC TEST (RBP)

With the establishment of training centers in the ÖRC, there was also a need for an examination that supports and promotes the natural abilities of our retrievers in the area of assistance dogs. A corresponding option was found with the basic retriever test (“RBP” for short). This test is mainly offered at the apprenticeship place.

Retriever Basic Exam - Exam Level 1
This test level consists of the following exercises: leash-guiding, retrieving, letting go free with approaching, binding exercise, leash-guiding with distraction and sitting down / laying down with distraction.

Retriever Basic Exam - Exam Level 2
This test level consists of the following exercises: leash-guiding and free following, retrieving, setting down and approaching, moving forward with bringing, searching and bringing, leash-guiding with distraction.

Retriever Basic Exam - Exam Level 3
This test level consists of the following exercises: leash-guiding, free following / walk-up, retrieving, setting down with approaching and retrieving, sending forward with bringing, free-following with distraction.

Retriever Basic Exam - Exam Level 4
This test level consists of the following exercises: walk up, fetching / doublemark, sitting down and instructing, moving ahead with distraction, standing still or bringing it out of deep water.
