THE DUTIES OF THE TRAINING AND EXAMINATION DEPARTMENT

Das ÖRC Ausbildungsreferat ist zuständig für die Aus- und Fortbildung von

• ÖRC course instructors
• ÖKV trainers
• ÖRC Leistungsrichter*innen
• ÖKV Leistungsrichter*innen Sparte Wesenstest

as well as for the examination system in the area of "companion and retrieval dogs"

• HFS Hundeführschein
• BH-VT companion dog test with behavior test (ÖPO)
• BH-VT und IBGH Begleithundeprüfungen (IGP)

• GAP obedience and retrieval test
• RBP Retriever Basic Exam
• SLP search performance test

The ÖRC training department generally supports examination regulations that provide for tests and competitions that promote the natural abilities of the retrievers or that are expected by the public (e.g. dog license).

Note: If other dog sports are practiced, the education and training is to be organized independently by the regional groups and their training centers (local groups). The approval of examinations and tournaments must also be obtained here from the ÖRC training department at the ÖKV.

Other tasks are

• Support of the regional groups and their training centers / training groups if necessary
• Interface to ÖKV (performance department)
