General
The purpose and task of the facility assessment for retrievers is to determine the natural abilities of the young dog with regard to its suitability and future use in various hunting uses after the shot, as well as its possible use as a breeding dog.
For the completion of the breeding suitability assessment, all retrievers with FCI pedigree (pedigree) are admitted from an age of at least 9 months up to the completed 24th month.

Exam subjects
I. Shot test (shotgun shot)
II. Enjoyment of water and bringing a duck out of deep water
III. Marking with a pheasant
IV. Bringing farmed game
V. Use of the nose
VI. Enjoyment of work

The following points lead to the failure of the dogs:
Shot sensitivity and shyness, not finding and not bringing, hard-mouthedness, whining and barking.
Submitting the piece and stepping in are not grounds for exclusion.
