The general assembly of the Austrian Retriever Club took place yesterday. Despite the difficult prerequisites, 78 eligible voting members from almost all federal states took part. The strict Covid prevention measures were observed with great discipline and also checked on site by the executive. Well structured, the agenda, including all submitted proposals, could be processed quickly.
The board was re-elected unanimously (there was only one abstention). The proposal to hold the General Assembly online or by postal vote in the future was unanimously rejected. The adjustment to the association law, that the board and the regional group leaders are elected for five years, was accepted with one abstention.
We would like to congratulate Karin Schönlieb and Ing.Alexander Prenner on their honorary membership.
All applications, even if the applicant was not present, were of course handled properly and, if necessary, coordinated.
It was necessary to hold the General Assembly in this form, as well as that it took place without delay. This was also seen by the authorities. The board would like to thank all of you who have put their priorities on our dogs and so numerous in the interest of the ÖRC took part in the general assembly.
Thank you very much for the confidence you have shown and the constructive General Assembly - we look to the next five years with confidence.
