GENERAL RULES FOR HUNTING TESTS OF THE ÖRC

  1. Dogs whose owners have their main residence in Austria must be registered in the ÖHZB, all others in a breed association recognized by the FCI.
  2. Das Mindestalter der teilnehmenden Hunde (am Tag der Prüfung vollendet) muß bei BLP und JBP/R 15 Monate, bei VGP 24 Monate (Jagdkarte erforderlich) und bei der Schweißsonderprüfung 18 Monate sein.
  3. Sick dogs and hot bitches are not allowed to take part in the test.

The ranking is based on incoming payments, with reports from club members of the ÖRC taking precedence over non-club members. Dogs that have not yet had the opportunity to take part in a test also have priority.
The examination is carried out according to the examination regulations of the ÖRC / ÖJGV. You can get all information about hunting exams from the hunting department.
Each participant has to bring their own game (trolls) with them.
For BLP you need at least: 1 rabbit (approx. 3 kg), 1 duck, 1 pheasant.
For VGP you need at least: 1 rabbit (approx. 3 kg), 1 duck, 1 pheasant. (2 ducks are recommended)
Deer or roe deer sweat, sprayed or dabbed, is used for sweat tracks.
  • The time of the meeting can be found in the examination notice.
  • Welcoming the participants, handing out lot numbers, announcing the course of the test, game control, division of groups and departure to the districts.
  • Weatherproof, hunting clothing, sturdy shoes, boots.
  • End of the test, judges' meeting, issuing of test certificates, awarding of prizes.
at the exams is at your own risk, the organizer assumes no liability.
If an objection is raised, it must be lodged with the judge or head of examinations immediately after the end of the examination subject, with a deposit equal to twice the entry fee. The deposit is forfeited in favor of the organizer if the objection is not upheld. The objection is limited to errors and mistakes made by the organizer, the test director, the judges and helpers in the preparation and implementation of the test. Objections to the judges' discretion cannot be objected to.
The entry fee will not be refunded if a dog does not appear (entry fee is forfeit money). If a bitch gets hot immediately before the test or the dog can demonstrably not compete for health reasons, the entry fee can only be credited for the subsequent hunting test organized by the ÖRC. In all cases (heat, illness, injury) confirmation from the veterinarian must be submitted by the start of the event. If the entry fee credited is not consumed in the following hunting test, it will be forfeited.
